Men's Baseball
Tulane vs. Oakland
March 14-16

Breakdown: These teams are mysteries to each other since they haven't played in recent years. Oakland (2-6) comes in as a struggling club that has not even played a home game yet this season. Don't expect much fight from them, making this an easy weekend for Tulane. What Tulane could really use is deep-outings from its starting pitchers, allowing its over-taxed bullpen to rest and prepare for the beginning of conference play. It will be interesting to see if the Green Wave offense can build on Wednesday's 23-hit drubbing of Northwestern State and keep the runs coming in. The offense has been slacking for much of the season and needs to find its groove. Anything less than a sweep would be disappointing for the Green Wave.
