Baseball vs. McNeese State, April 1 at 6 p.m.
Baseball at Nicholls State, April 2 6:30 p.m.
Breakdown: After a three-game road trip in Birmingham to begin conference play, the Green Wave will take on a pair of in-state foes in McNeese State and Nicholls State. So far, Tulane is 5-3 against Louisiana teams, including losses to Southeastern Louisiana, LSU and New Orleans. While McNeese State shouldn't be too much of a problem, playing Nicholls State in Thibodaux might be a problem since Tulane is only 1-4 on the road this season.
Player to watch: Junior starter Jonathan Garrett looks well on his way to having a career year. He only lasted three innings in his last outing, giving up two runs on five hits, but sports a 2.73 earned run average. He should easily bounce back with a longer outing against McNeese State on Tuesday.
